Thoughts. Personal thoughts.
In this post, I describe why I decided to make this website where I share my personal thoughts
I usually sleep at around 4-5 AM and one night while trying to sleep, one thought came to my mind- "why do I keep thinking stuff to myself?". I know it's a very random thought, but c'mon, cut me some slack, it was 4 AM and I usually get random "3 AM thoughts".
Most of the times my thoughts are personal, not work-related, or somewhat work-related but the more personal aspect of it, like not literally code running through my mind, ykwim? Sometimes these thoughts aren't that personal and I'd be willing to share those with the rest of the world, and that's the reason I decided to create this website. To document my journey as I go and also for people to know my thought process if I succeed/fail in life.
Also that I have almost no friends who have insanely ridiculous amount of time to hear my nonsense. Well I'm pretty sure only one or two people would even read stuff on this website, and I'm not mad about it because I get it- we have different priorities and I just don't happen to be one right now and that's completely okay.
Most of my work is on my youtube channel and my technical blog and I get satisfactory number of visitors. Code is something I like and I'm glad I have an audience to hear me out. But not everyone is into listening to a dude in his 20s ranting about life, right? lol
Anyways, this marks the start of my "thoughts" microblog. Behind the scenes it's just a bunch of markdown files and an over-engineered Next.js application with RSC. I don't know why I did it, it just felt the easiest way.
I'll start from tomorrow, or whenever I get late night thoughts (same thing), and I'll post the links on twitter.
Later, smellies.
