All about what are my plans for the new year
Happy new year to everyone reading this! I wish each one of you have a wonderful rest of 2025 where you meet your goals without any problems. I'm sure a lot of you have made resolutions. I stopped making new year resolutions a long ago. Although, I think this time I should be making some and setting some goals. Vague goals work. Some things I really cannot attach a number to.
I'm really optimistic about 2025. 2024 was not the best year of my life. Pretty uneventful I must say. Although, around 3/4th of the year, I fulfilled the goal of reaching 3,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel. And then I went stale with my content again. I intend to change that and be super consistent. I keep forgetting my motivation. Very weird problem, I know.
Goal 1: 6,000 subscribers on YT
I'm pretty confident about my YouTube goals as last year I managed to do that with very less effort. So I have decided to double the goal this year. I must reach 6,000 subscribers by the end of the year. Some might say that this is too less and I'm just finding ways to be lazy.
Although, setting realistic goals is very important for me. I'm at a state of life where I just need a little push. And it won't help if I keep super unrealistic goals for myself. I won't say it's gonna be an easy journey towards 6k subscribers. But if I do reach the goal, I'm just gonna be happy there on out. If I exceed and blow out of proportion when it comes to subscribers on my channel, I'm gonna become the happiest person in the entire planet. However that case is highly unlikely. Nothing about my content is special "yet".
Goal 2: Get in better shape
Remember how I mentioned some of my goals are just gonna be vague? This is one of them. I am not sure how much my body can do in just one year if I consistently take care of my body. However, I'm here to try my best.
I'm gonna hit the gym consistently and not whine about how tired I am feeling. Sometimes I give myself weird passes to not hit the gym and those need to stop as well.
I'm also gonna make it a goal to eat better everyday. Other than special occasions, I should definitely not be allowed to order junk food like pizza. I should probably cook my own healthy food and replace with all the junk I ate in 2024. That's also probably gonna help with my acne.
Goal 3: More focus on personal relationships
I'm not talking (just) about romantic relationships. I need to make more friends. The way I am right now, I really have a limited amount of friends and the ability for me to make more seems very high given my passion for tech, but I'm highly introverted and don't often reach out to people. And then I whine about how less friends I have.
Other than that, I intend to spend more time with my family. I know, I made the decision to move out of my hometown and shift to Pune, but I think that's still necessary and I'm learning new things everyday. I'm going to make trips to Nagpur more often to meet my family.
Conclusion
I think those three are the main goals for 2025. As a person who hates making new year resolutions, these are a lot of goals, haha. I'm going to make a post similar to this in 2026 and I'm basically gonna do a detailed recap of 2025 and evaluate how I did, and that's a promise.
